Ennshafen OÖ Gmbh
The Ennshafen OÖ GmbH unites the inter-state Ennshafen at the border of Lower and Upper Austria and the harbor area comprises the largest connected industrial construction area on the Upper Danube with a total of 3,500,000 m². Ennshafen has an optimal trimodal – waterway/railway/street – transport connection , due to the connection of the port area to the international transport network. It is located at the intersection of the more than 3,500 kilometre long Rhine-Main-Danube waterway with the important North/South railway connection (Stockholm-Berlin-Prag-Enns-Triest/Koper).
Ennshafen is an international top industrial location with more than 50 companies and more than 1,600 people working there, due to the modern trimodal-waterway/railway/street – infrastructure, qualified staff and, the existing recreational and cultural facilities of the region. Moreover, the container terminal Ennshafen and the Ennshafen stuffing centre with an office space of approx. 3,700 m² offer optimal expansion opportunities for the cargo industry.
All operative services, such as handling, storage, refinement, packaging, towing of ships, container loading, unloading, check or repair, are offered on location. Since the beginning of the operative port business in the year 1993, annual water cargo handling could be increased from 30,000 tons to more than 1 million tons, the overall handling of road, railway and waterway cargo even to more than 5 million tons. New line connections in direction South East Europe are built, particularly in the container area.

- Expansion transfer station from 2 railway tracks up to 6 tracks with 750m length
Content:
- A European Inland Waterway Information and Training Centre will be established. It should be an info and education platform for students, pupils, and persons with relevant education in logistic and trade and also for interested people as well as for the economy. The Danube navigation will be presented as ecological and economical intermodal transport system.
- Ennshafen is also planning a structure of a container scheduled service on the Danub

Although it is 2,000 km from the Black Sea and 1,500 km from the North Sea, the trimodal port of Vienna, located on the river Danube, has the advantage of offering direct links to the three main means of transport, namely water, rail and road.

The Port of Linz
Linz AG Hafen Logistics
The Port of Linz represents an international logistics centre with a geographical important transport location on the river Danube. Container terminal, trading and tankfarm port with all necessary handling and transshipment facillities, warehouses and stores, special storage for deep frozen or dangerous goods as well as a tugboat service.
- Container Terminal: 90.000m² area, combined traffic between rail, road and ship; 225.332 TEU (2008).
- Storage Logistics: 115.000m² covered storage area, 6.500 pallet lots for all ADR-classes, 55.000m² storage for refrigerated and deep frozen goods (together with our buisiness partner Österreichische Donaulager GmbH).
- Trading Port: mass and single goods from water-traffic to rail and road, airport.
- Tankfarm Port: 330.000m³ volume, service boat to supply the vessels.
- Leasing Services: from small offices for rent to storage areas that are thousands of square meters.
