fto_slovakiaSlovenska plavba a prístavy a.s. (SPaP a.s.) has been the leading Slovak company dealing with transport, transshipment and warehousing of goods, forwarding services, repairs and reconstructions of vessels.

In the port of Bratislava SPaP a.s. offers the possibility of bunkering of vessels. In addition, our company offers logistic services related to transport of all kinds of goods – bulk cargo, general cargo, special transports, transport of liquid cargo and towing services - on the Danube  as well as on the entire network of European waterways from the North Sea to the Black Sea territory.
The  SPaP a.s.is being equipped with appropriate technological equipment, skilled staff, offering reliable services, has an advantageous position in the field of warehousing, transshipment and transport of goods.

The company is directly connected to rail network, road network, i.e. motorway D1 and D2 and as well as to the internal pipeline from Slovnaft – refinery.

SPaP a.s. carries out transshipment of goods in the ports of Bratislava (Danube river kilometre 1886) and Komárno (Danube river kilometre 1769).  The port of Bratislava is the  only Danube port which has transshipment facility for  overweight and overdimensional goods  (up to  560 mt net) available. Moreover i is equipped with the Ro-Ro facility.

The container terminal of the Bratislava port carries out transshipment of containers of ISO I C – A type, transport railway-road-water, warehousing/renting of open areas, gathering of containers, door to door service, checking, repair and maintenance of containers. It has a direct,  regular connection by means of container to shuttle trains.

SPaP a.s. – Lodenica is a 100% subsidiary company of the SPaP a.s. . In its modern shipbuilding halls the company offers  general overhauls,  modernisation, reconstruction and conversion of vessels. The company has a powerful slipway with a lifting capacity up to 1100 mt for vessels up to 115 m long and up to 14 metres wide.

The aim of the company SPaP  a.s. is to establish a logistic centre for transshipment, transport and warehousing.
