Sächsische Binnenhäfen Oberelbe (SBO)

Sächsische Binnenhäfen Oberelbe – Germany and Czech Republic

The Sächsische Binnenhäfen Oberelbe GmbH (SBO) is a multimodal logistics company and operates six public inland ports along the Upper Elbe: Dresden, Riesa and Torgau in Saxony, Mühlberg in Brandenburg as well as Decin and Lovosice in the Czech Republic. Each of these locations is a universal port and offers intermodal handling options for inland waterway, railway and truck.

For SBO and its Czech subsidiary CSP, EFIP is an important partner in gaining direct access to EU information, plans and laws. As a cross-border port association, we use the exchange on European topics and their implementation in national strategies.

Only through joint exchange and cooperation can we master the challenge of the future of providing sustainable, efficient and reliable infrastructures as a prerequisite for achieving the economic and climate goals. EFIP offers a very good platform for this.
